What is Slow Flowers?

Slow Flowers is an association that started in America when journalist Debra Prinzing noticed through her interviews that there was a lot of interest in native cut flowers but consumers didn't know where to find them. She took it upon herself to connect growers and florists by creating a website (and thus a movement) where growers and consumers can easily find each other.

But Slow Flowers is much more than just a website, it's a mentality - a local, sustainable, seasonal flower.

Who?

We are (for now) three flower growers who believe that flower growing and floriculture in Estonia can also be more respectful of the environment and the seasons. Our common values brought us together and a strong sense of mission inspired us to start the Slow Flowers movement in Estonia, following the example of many other like-minded people abroad.

At the moment, we are only at the beginning. We're mapping out the growers, offering support as much as we can and working hard to create a nice cohesive community. We're looking forward to bringing you some exciting training as early as this year! Be sure to find us on social media to keep up to date with the latest!
